Light amber, as in the quintessential champagne colour. Finishes dry with very good toasty finish. I would enjoy this as an accompaniment to seafood or white meat rather than for quaffing. 7.5/10
Typical Riesling colour and a light flinty nose. It has lots of foam initially which disappears quickly. Taste is quite dry for even a dry Riesling without the usual touch of fruitiness, and it has a tart flinty aftertaste. Overall taste is quite simple. 7/10
A very French style sparkling cider from Normandy. Dark amber colour and strong apple bouquet. A quite pronounced apple flavour that is long lasting and finishes slightly sweet. My favourite sparkling cider. 9/10
Had at a New Year's Eve 2023/4 party. Interesting berry flavour and bouquet but drier than I like for quaffing. It would be very good with seafood or perhaps chicken. 7/10
